George Floyd.

George Floyd.

I have had time to reflect on George Floyd and his murder. I find the most troubling part of my reflection is how connected I feel to his murder in comparison with Trayvon Martin.

Yes, the circumstances were different but not in their nature.

MURDER is the nature of what I CONTINUE to SEE.

George Floyd.

George Floyd.

Another moment of racist police violence echoed across the internet, around the globe and in my heart. This lead me to a place of exhaustion but also enlightenment.

Exhaustion: A state of anguish through relevant and historical periods of time.

Enlightenment: To know that my heart is shared across time and space with those who can grasp the reality for Black royalty, to know there is a community that is resilient, to know the creative souls that exist in this world that soothes anguish.

I am not Black, I will never know what it feels like to be Black…what I do know is the people who do know and are…have spoken.

I send my heart and condolences to those truly affected.

May y’all find spiritual growth, healing, reciprocity and Love.
